You will own the full sample process, from preparation and packing to shipping, documentation and follow-up, while keeping our databases and KPIs accurate. You will also support exciting R&D activities such as sensory tests, customer visits and competitive product evaluations, all in full compliance with safety, food safety and regulatory standards.\nWhat you will do\nSample Coordination & Shipping\nReceive and process sample requests within required timelines using our CRM database\nPack samples and prepare all documentation, including courier and customs paperwork\nLabel samples correctly with allergens, kosher status, shelf life and storage conditions\nShare tracking information, follow up on deliveries and resolve any delivery issues\nKeep requestors updated on status, work with stakeholders to solve obstacles and escalate capacity or priority concerns to your manager\nInventory, Data & KPIs\nBuild and maintain an inventory of standard product samples (powder mixes, chocolate, fillings and décor), ensuring everything is within shelf-life using our digital database\nPull samples from the line or warehouse, relieve inventory in SAP and order products from other Puratos facilities\nManage the sample database and report monthly shipping KPIs, including cost, number of samples, response time and deviations\nMaintain lab supplies and ingredients in our ingredient database (OAK), following allergen and kosher labelling requirements\nR&D Support\nSupport product development and adaptation by scaling, preparing samples and relieving inventory\nCreate standard product samples, such as mixes and fillings, when required\nWith guidance, run analytical and application tests on competitive products\nSupport sensory work, consumer tests and customer visits\nLab Organization, Quality & Safety\nKeep the bakery, lab and storage areas clean, organized and well stocked, and order lab and packaging supplies as needed\nMake sure all equipment and tools are working properly\nSupport efficient use of the R&D lab and Innovation Centre through planning, 5S and GMPs\nRespect quality assurance criteria (traceability, GMP), report food safety and quality issues right away, and follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements\nWhat we expect from you\nPost-secondary diploma or degree, preferably in the sciences, with a practical, hands-on mindset\nWorking proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP and/or CRM is an asset\nStrong data management skills across multiple systems\nExcellent organization, attention to detail and time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritize\nStrong English communication skills, one-on-one and in groups, with a focus on win-win solutions\nProactive, self-motivated team player who looks for process improvements\nAbility to lift 25 kg and stand for extended periods; an excellent safety record and reliable attendance\nExperience in a food production facility is an asset\nOnsite role with up to 10% travel\nYou are curious about digital tools, data & AI and comfortable learning new systems to make work safer, simpler, and more efficient.\nWhat you can expect from Puratos\nYou join a rapidly growing international leader with a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, offering you the freedom to make an impact.
