At Puratos, we turn bold ideas into lasting impact through innovation, expertise, and a commitment to well-being.\nTo strengthen our team in Europe, we are looking for a:\nSAP SD Support Specialist (m/f/d)\n(Sils or Barcelona (Terrassa) Spain)\nYour Mission\nThe main mission consists of following up and resolving SAP SD support cases related to MyPuratos (our e-commerce platform integrated with SAP) via the Puratos support portal.\nWhat you will do\nAs SAP SD Support Specialist you will be an expert in your domain from a functional and technical point of view.\nThe key tasks are:\nPerformance Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing the performance of existing ABAP programs and processes to improve system performance, response times, and resource utilization. This may involve identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing database access, and implementing coding best practices.\nIntegration: Developing and configuring interfaces and integration solutions using ABAP technologies such as RFC (Remote Function Call), BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface), IDoc (Intermediate Document), and Web Services. Integrating SAP systems with external systems and third-party applications.\nData Migration: Developing and executing data migration programs and scripts to transfer data between SAP and non-SAP systems or between different SAP systems. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.\nTechnical Support and Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to ABAP development, system integrations, and data conversions. Analyzing and debugging ABAP programs to identify and resolve errors and issues.\nDocumentation and Knowledge Sharing: Documenting technical designs, specifications, and development activities. Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders through presentations, training sessions, and documentation.\nContinuous Learning and Development: Staying updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and development methodologies. Participating in training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in ABAP development and related areas.\nWhat we expect from you\nEducation and Qualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.\nSAP certification in relevant modules (SD and/or ABAP) is highly desirable.\nTechnical Skills:\nSAP SD:Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP SD modules.\nExperience with pricing, order management, and delivery processes.\nKnowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO).\n\nABAP:Good ABAP programming skills.\nAbility to develop custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.\nUnderstanding of SAP data dictionary objects (tables, views, indexes).\n\nFunctional Expertise:SD:\nUnderstanding of sales processes, including sales orders, contracts, and billing.\nKnowledge of pricing procedures, condition types, and output determination.\nABAP:\nExperience in debugging and performance tuning ABAP programs.\n\nOther:\nFluent in English (spoken and written).
