The Document Tech-Shipping Clerk also ensures drivers are checked in and released with appropriate paperwork and assists in shipping product.\nResponsibilities:\nCollect, record, verify and print receiving documentation and data; cross check to bill of lading to ensure accurate reporting of inventory and product levels; create reports\nInvestigate variances, resolve discrepancies and complete revisions; report to personnel with authority\nAct as a point of contact for Truck Drivers; provide drivers with accurate paperwork before load is released, track and report driver concerns about trailer, equipment or product shortage\nProvide support to supervisor as is relates to driver schedule, lot layout; notify drivers when trailers need to be pulled or placed at dock\nPartner with Supervisor and Quality Department to assist in receiving product\nSchedule receiving and inbound appointments as required\nEnsure compliance for GMPS, SOP’s, policies, and procedures\nOther core expectations as defined by the company\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma required; Post-secondary education in a business discipline or a post graduate certificate preferred\n2-3 years experience in record management in the produce industry preferred\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, and Food Safety\nExperience with ERP software FAMOUS® preferred\nIntermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite software experience is required\nNumeric literacy, math and problem-solving skills required\nProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently with minimum supervision; provide leadership when needed\nWorking Conditions:\nHours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility required\nThis job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation.\nRole routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
