You'll own features end to end: understanding the problem, mapping flows, designing polished interfaces in Figma, and working with engineers until it ships.\nYou'll work closely with product, engineering and our motion team, so the experience feels cohesive, playful and easy to use.\nLocation: In-person only (New York office)\nType: Full-time\nReports to: Creative Team\nWhat you'll do\nOwn features end to end, from problem definition and user flows to high-fidelity UI and handoff.\n\nDesign intuitive, polished interfaces for iOS, Android and web in Figma.\n\nCreate wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes to explore ideas and test them quickly.\n\nRun lightweight user research and usability tests, and turn findings into design decisions.\n\nBuild and maintain our design system: components, styles, tokens and documentation.\n\nPartner with engineers through implementation, reviewing builds and polishing details until they ship.\n\nWork with the motion team to define how screens, interactions and transitions should feel.\n\nWhat we're looking for\n[3+] years designing digital products, ideally consumer mobile apps.\n\nA strong portfolio showing shipped work, your process and the reasoning behind your decisions.\n\nExpert-level Figma skills, including components, auto layout, variables and prototyping.\n\nStrong visual design craft: typography, layout, color and attention to detail.\n\nSolid UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design and usability.\n\nClear communication and comfort presenting, defending and iterating on your work.\n\nAbility to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAble to work in person at our NYC office.\n\nNice to have\nExperience designing for games, social or AI-powered products.\n\nMotion or prototyping skills (Rive, Protopie, After Effects).\n\nIllustration or brand design skills.\n\nBasic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, React) to work smoothly with engineers.\n\nExperience building a design system from scratch.\n\nPerks and benefits\nMedical, dental and vision insurance, with 100% of premiums covered by Pure, starting on your first day.\n\nCompany computer.\n\nFree Equinox membership.\n\nDinner provided in the office every night.\n\nUp to $60/day for other meals when in the office.\n\nWeekly dry cleaning and laundry service.\n\nPure is an equal opportunity employer.
