This position ensures shipping, receiving, product handling, sanitation, documentation, and equipment upkeep are completed safely, accurately, and on time. The Warehouse Operator Lead protects product quality by following all PURIS safety standards, food safety programs, Good Manufacturing Practices, and established warehouse procedures\nStarting Pay Rate: $27.00 hourly\nPay Frequency: Biweekly\nBonus Eligible: Yes\nWork Location: Dawson, MN\nTravel: None\nThe compensation for this role will be based on qualifications, experience, market data, and internal equity. Actual pay may vary due to factors such as location, skills, education, and performance. Pay is determined transparently, using market benchmarks and ensuring internal equity.\nSummary of Essential Job Functions\nResponsible for ensuring that warehouse facility is kept in good repair at all times \nPerforms all duties in a safe manner and follows all warehouse safety policies and procedures \nCompletes product handling documentation according to established procedure including ERP transactions \nSafely performs product handling with use of forklifts or pallet jacks \nComplete all documentation as required \nEnsure product quality by adhering to all food safety programs and good manufacturing practices (GMP). \nPerform light maintenance and upkeep on equipment \nPerform and document all daily sanitation, and master sanitation duties as scheduled \nImmediately report equipment issues to ensure timely repair \nManage day-to-day operations of warehouse, including: freight, returns, receiving, parcels and transfers \nMaintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations \nAssist the warehouse manager with printing of bill of ladings, Commercial invoice, and responding to customer appointments \nPerform other tasks as assigned \nSpecific Measures of Success\n100% Safe work days \n0 warehouse staff related rejected loads \n100% on time shipping \nRequirements\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh school Diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum 1 year of shipping experience required\nPrior Fork Truck experience required\nKnowledge of GMPs and Food Safety highly preferred\nRequired Skills and Capabilities:\nFamiliarity with logistics\nKnowledge of loading/unloading best practices\nMust be adaptable, detail oriented, and safety oriented\nMust be able to understand and independently follow through with processes\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust be able to stand for 8+ hours of your shift.\nMust be able to safely mount and dismount a fork truck regularly during your shift\nMust be able to lift 50 lb. bags occasionally\nMust be able to work safely at heightened platforms on occasion\nBenefits:\nAt PURIS, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both personally and professionally.
