The compensation target for this role is: $20.00

Job Summary

This position needs an energetic and skilled professional to become part of our dynamic and growing company. The Quality Inspector will provide support to Production staff and help ensure that high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and assistin core QC functions and associated activities relating to Incoming, In-Process and Final Product Control

• Accurately complete documentation to indicateacceptance or rejection of parts and equipment

• Assistand document the investigation and resolution of problems initiatedthrough nonconformances, corrective action, customer complaints, and/or audit findings

• Assistin development of test methods and inspection plans

• Assistin validations of test methods, equipment, processes

• Liaison with Purchasing for supplier interactions (receiving inspection)

• Assistin data gathering, analysis and reporting of department metrics as required

• Investigate and communicate supplier quality issues / failures (receiving inspection)

• Perform standard and non-standard dimensional and/or functional tests using standard inspection tools and test equipment

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions

• Experience with product testing and inspection

• Good organizational skills

• Basic computer skills

• Good communicationskills and ability to resolve conflict

Physical Requirements

• ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, polesand the like;

• moving self in different positionsto accomplishtasks in various environments;

• communicating with others to exchange information.

Physical activities may constantly include:

• remainingin a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods;

• moving about to accomplishtasks or moving from one worksite to another;

• adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions;

• repeating motions that may include the wrists, handsand/or fingers;

• operating machinery and/or power tools, depending on position;

• depending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment;

• assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:

• Noisy open office environmentor hazardous conditions

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
