The Quality Inspector will provide support to Production staff and help ensure that high-quality products are delivered to our customers.Job Description\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nTake ownership and assistin core QC functions and associated activities relating to Incoming, In-Process and Final Product Control\n\nAccurately complete documentation to indicateacceptance or rejection of parts and equipment\n\nAssistand document the investigation and resolution of problems initiatedthrough nonconformances, corrective action, customer complaints, and/or audit findings\n\nAssistin development of test methods and inspection plans\n\nAssistin validations of test methods, equipment, processes\n\nLiaison with Purchasing for supplier interactions (receiving inspection)\n\nAssistin data gathering, analysis and reporting of department metrics as required\n\nInvestigate and communicate supplier quality issues / failures (receiving inspection)\n\nPerform standard and non-standard dimensional and/or functional tests using standard inspection tools and test equipment\n\nRequired Skills, Education, Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nAbility to read, understand, and follow written instructions\n\nExperience with product testing and inspection\n\nGood organizational skills\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nGood communicationskills and ability to resolve conflict\n\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical activities may occasionally include:\nascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, polesand the like;\n\nmoving self in different positionsto accomplishtasks in various environments;\n\ncommunicating with others to exchange information.\n\nPhysical activities may constantly include:\nremainingin a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods;\n\nmoving about to accomplishtasks or moving from one worksite to another;\n\nadjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions;\n\nrepeating motions that may include the wrists, handsand/or fingers;\n\noperating machinery and/or power tools, depending on position;\n\ndepending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment;\n\nassessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.\n\nEnvironmental Conditions may occasionally include:\nNoisy open office environmentor hazardous conditions\n\nWork Hours (Good Faith Estimate):\nThis full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
