This individual will coordinate with warehouse manager and purchasing in the development of lean efficient receiving practices.Job Description\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\n Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer\n\n Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors\n\n Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in receiving area\n\n Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment\n\n Clean and maintainsupplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order toensure compliance with safety regulations\n\n Determineproper storage methods, identification, and stock location\n\n Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment\n\n Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors\n\n Transfer of damaged or defective items or return them to designateareas\n\nRequired Skills, Education, Experience:\n Drive forklift in order topick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designatedlocations\n\n Maintain records of inventories, shortages, shipments and good used or issued\n\n Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions\n\n Confer with engineering and purchasingpersonnel and vendors regardingstock procurement and availability\n\n High school diploma or equivalentpreferred\n\n Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical activities may occasionally include:\n Remainingin stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.\n\n Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.\n\nPhysical activities may constantly include:\n Communicating with others to exchange information.\n\n Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, handsand/or fingers.\n\n Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.\n\nEnvironmental Conditions may occasionally include:\n Noisy open office environment\n\nWork Hours (Good Faith Estimate):\nThis full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
