Because when you invest in better, everything else follows.\nCompensation\nThe compensation target for this role is: $26.50 - $31.00Why this role matters\nThis position objective will be to manage inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff at the Purple facility. This individual will coordinate with warehouse manager, purchasing, fulfillment and production in the development of lean efficient warehouse practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nMeets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements. \nMoves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. \nDelivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. \nMaintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. \nMaintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. \nSecures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems. \nKeeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. \nUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. \nRequired Skills, Education, Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent \nExperience with Data Entry Management and Safety Management \nPrior supervisory experience preferred \nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical activities may occasionally include:\nRemaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time. \nAdjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. \nPhysical activities may constantly include:\nCommunicating with others to exchange information. \nRepetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. \nAssessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned. \nEnvironmental Conditions may occasionally include:\nNoisy manufacturing environment \nWork Hours (Good Faith Estimate):\nThis full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
