including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.\nUtilise basic automation knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the testing process.\nPerform database testing and have a strong understanding of basic SQL and database concepts.\nMonitor and analyse test results, identify and report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.\nContinuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for optimisation, implementing best practices, and staying up to date with emerging testing methodologies and tools.\nMentor and guide junior members of the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring the successful resolution and prevention of future incidents.\nParticipate in release management activities, coordinating with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and successful software deployments.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.\nEquivalent work experience will also be considered.\nProven experience as a QA engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications.\nStrong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.\nKnowledge in basic automation and the ability to automate repetitive tasks.\nExperience in API Testing using tools\nSolid knowledge of basic SQL and database concepts for performing database testing.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nBasic knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate risks and issues effectively.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nProven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software.\nPlus points if you have worked for a product-based company
