What haven’t we thought about? How does this affect the wider system - and the customer?\nThat’s the kind of Senior QA Engineer we’re looking for.\nYou’ll sit within an engineering team, and work closely with Software Engineers, Product, Design and SRE across both front-end and back-end testing.\nThis is a hands-on role. You’ll be involved early, helping the team think through quality before something reaches production, as well as investigating issues, supporting triage and helping decide where testing effort matters most.\nWe’re not overly focused on automation. We care much more about how you think - your curiosity, judgement, creativity and ability to investigate risk.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nTest across front-end and back-end systems.\n\nGet involved early to identify risk, assumptions and gaps.\n\nThink beyond the happy path and explore how things could fail.\n\nUnderstand the customer and prioritise testing based on impact and business value.\n\nInvestigate defects deeply, following clues and testing hypotheses.\n\nAnalyse and triage issues raised by customers and internal teams.\n\nLook at the whole system, not just the ticket in front of you.\n\nHelp keep important quality issues visible and prioritised.\n\nImprove testing practices, documentation and ways of working.\n\nShare your knowledge and help mentor less experienced team members.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’ll likely bring 5+ years of QA or software testing experience, ideally in a SaaS or product environment.\nMore importantly, you’ll be someone who:\nIs naturally curious about how software works.\n\nEnjoys finding the unexpected.\n\nThinks in terms of risk, systems and customer impact.\n\nKnows how to investigate, not just execute test cases.\n\nCan move comfortably between front-end behaviour and back-end logic.\n\nCommunicates clearly and works well across disciplines.\n\nBrings creativity and pragmatism to testing.\n\nYou’ll be comfortable with Jira and Confluence.
