At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate.\nJob Purpose\nThe Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes, cookware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are met.\nIn addition, the Dishwasher supports the overall flow of operations by staying aware of venue needs and assisting other team members. This includes promptly collecting used items from various stations, restocking clean wares, and maintaining an organized dish area to support kitchen and service teams.\nResponsibilities\nWash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding spaces\nAdhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards\nAssist kitchen staff by collecting dirty or used items from prep areas, service stations, or events\nOperate dishwashing machinery and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs\nFollow all venue policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness\nSupport team members in maintaining an efficient and collaborative kitchen environment\nPerform additional duties as requested by the culinary or management team\nQualifications\nFamiliarity with kitchen safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures\nGood communication and teamwork skills; ability to work well under pressure\nDependable, punctual, and attentive to detail\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nWorking Conditions\nFast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment requiring focus and efficiency\nRequires standing and walking for extended periods, including moving between stations or up and down stairs\nExposure to heat, humidity, cleaning chemicals, and occasional loud noise\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance\nEvening, weekend, and holiday shifts required to support business operations\nPuttery is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
