At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate.\nJob Purpose\nThe Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to company recipes and presentation standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and speed of service. This role includes setting up and stocking stations, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuring\nSet up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift\nCook menu items accurately and efficiently according to recipes and presentation standards\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout service\nLabel and store all food products properly after each shift\nFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines\nAssist with training new kitchen team members as requested\nCommunicate equipment or supply needs to management promptly\nPerform other duties as requested by management\nQualifications\nPrevious culinary experience in a high-volume environment required; multi-station experience a plus\nStrong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environment\nExcellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills\nSafe Food Handler certification preferred\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nWorking Conditions\nFast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and wet surfaces\nRequires standing and walking for extended periods\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally\nFrequent handwashing and use of gloves required\nSchedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed\nPuttery is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
