We seek skilled and experienced educators and theatre professionals who are collaborative, team-oriented, and committed to excellence in undergraduate education, artistic development, and ensemble production.\nResponsibilities:\nTeach undergraduate Theatre courses, which may include Introduction to Acting, Theatre Practicum, Stage Movement, and other courses according to departmental needs and the candidate’s qualifications.\nSupport rehearsals, performances, and productions of the Charles Gilpin Players and other departmental theatrical activities.\nCollaborate with Theatre and Performing Arts faculty in support of productions, curricular initiatives, and student success.\nKeep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance.\nMentor and support students in developing their artistic, performance, and professional skills.\nPost and maintain regular office hours.\nPerforms other duties assigned by department head.\nRequired Education & Experience:\nMaster’s degree in Theater or related field.\nOne to two years experience in applicable field.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to multitask and work cooperatively with others.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious teaching experience at the collegiate or advanced pre-professional level.\nProfessional experience in acting, directing, movement, production, or related areas of theatre.\nExperience working with theatrical productions and student ensembles.\nAbility to teach in multiple areas of the Theatre curriculum.\nExperience mentoring and developing undergraduate performers.\nJob Posting Close Date:\n10/28/2026 \nRequired Attachments:\nPlease attach all required documents listed below in the attachment box labeled as either “Resume/CV or Resume/Cover Letter” on the application.
