This role centers on leveraging the Composable Storefront (PWA Kit) and Managed Runtime to deliver secure, scalable, ADA-compliant digital commerce experiences. The architect will define technical vision, guide development teams, and ensure execution of best-in-class front-end engineering practices.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:\n- Architectural leadership and technical direction\n- Lead design and deployment of Composable Storefronts using PWA Kit and Managed Runtime\n- Mentor developers and enforce best practices\n- Define API integration strategies with SFCC and third-party services\n- Optimize for performance, scalability, SEO, and accessibility\n- Collaborate with product, business, and UX stakeholders\n- Assess emerging technologies for roadmap enhancement\n- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues\n- Manage dependency hygiene, vulnerability audits, and semantic versioning\nINTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:\n· Internal: Works closely with business and technology teams, including engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.\n· External: Engages with technology vendors, consultants, and industry partners to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Direct: None\n· Indirect: Provide leadership & guidance to outsourced vendor resources\nBUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Maintain the environment to minimize budget overflows\nDECISION MAKING:\n· Leads decision-making on data product development and prioritization in collaboration with stakeholders.\n· Recommends technology investments and improvements to enhance data product capabilities.\nRESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:\n· Ensures technology solutions align with business needs, emphasizing usability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.\n· Requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex business and technical challenges.\nENVIRONMENT: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
