Brand Technical Development owns the technical development of Tommy Hilfiger product globally, connecting onshore and offshore expertise with certified vendor technical teams to deliver consistent fit, quality and technical execution throughout the product-development lifecycle.\nThe team partners closely with Design, Product Development, Brand Supply, PVH Supply and vendor teams to translate creative intent into production-ready product while strengthening technical capability, standards and ways of working across the global organization. \nAbout the Role\nThe Technical Developer owns the technical development of assigned products from proto through to production stage, applying brand standards and resolving straightforward fit, construction and production issues. The role works independently on day-to-day product activity with general guidance, takes responsibility for technical data and seasonal milestones and builds productive relationships with Product Development, Design, offshore teams and vendors. \nAs product needs and priorities change, the role adapts its plan, anticipates practical impacts and raises material trade-offs or decisions with the appropriate manager or decision owner before quality or delivery is affected.\nThis is a 3months contract to start as soon as possible.\nKey responsibilities - Including but not limited to:\nOwn the technical development of assigned product from proto through to production, delivering agreed fit, construction, quality and milestone outcomes. \nRun fit sessions for assigned product and provide clear, accurate and actionable technical comments and direction to internal teams and vendors. \nApply approved blocks, patterns, grading, measurement, construction and fit standards and identify when an exception requires review. \nMaintain complete and accurate technical data, specifications, comments and approvals in PLM and the relevant product record. \nIdentify and resolve routine fit, construction and production issues using established approaches, escalating issues that exceed the role's authority or available precedent. \nWork directly with Product Development, Design, offshore technical teams and vendors to align product requirements, actions and seasonal timing. \nOwn seasonal milestones for assigned product, monitor dependencies and communicate risks early with clear context, actions taken and support required. \nSupport the testing and implementation of new blocks, constructions and technical solutions within agreed standards and governance. \nContribute to team performance measures, product hindsight and process improvements by sharing learning and following through on agreed actions. \nIndependently prioritize assigned work as demands change, propose practical sequencing and align material timing, scope or capacity trade-offs with the relevant decision owner. \nThe ideal candidate\nExperience\nTypically brings 2-4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's or Engineering degree, or 5-8 years with a relevant post-secondary qualification, in Technical Development, garment technology, technical design, pattern development or a related area. \nBrings strong working knowledge of garment fit, construction, pattern and grading principles and the apparel product-development process. \nHas experience maintaining technical product data and approvals in PLM and working with internal product teams, offshore colleagues or vendors. \nSkills\nSolves a range of straightforward technical problems using standard procedures and sound product judgment, with general guidance on new or less-familiar assignments. \nTakes ownership of assigned product, priorities and deadlines and communicates risks, recommendations and progress clearly. \nAdapts plans to changing business needs, anticipates impacts on timelines and stakeholders and maintains quality, realistic commitments and sustainable delivery. \nYour Wellbeing is Our Priority\nIn the heart of Amsterdam, PVH is home to the global headquarters of Tommy Hilfiger and the European offices of Calvin Klein.\nWellbeing: exclusive onsite gym and fitness classes, personal training, meditation studio, sports clubs, in-house physio, and receive access to our nutritional and wellbeing programs\n\nCampus: extensive food and beverage offerings, top-notch restaurant, barista coffee bars, sky bar, monthly social events, weekly Thursday drinks, game nights, and campus-themed activities that will keep your social life busy\n\nDevelop your career: whether you lead a team or contribute your own expertise, everyone is a leader at PVH.
