These systems support wildfire mitigation, Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) operations, and regulatory reporting.\nYou will build and maintain Foundry applications, pipelines, and dashboards under the guidance of senior engineers. You will work a rotating shift on a team that keeps mission-critical utility systems running during live operational events. This is a role for someone early in their career who wants to learn Foundry and operational delivery quickly.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and maintain Workshop applications, dashboards, and workflows under direction from Mid and Senior engineers\nSupport data pipelines that integrate SAP, OMS, GIS, weather, customer, and operational data\nMonitor production systems during your shift and escalate issues quickly to the right engineer\nHelp with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during critical events\nPerform functional, regression, and user-acceptance testing on new features and releases\nWrite and update technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures\nTake part in operational readiness exercises and tabletop events\nParticipate in PVM's peer mentorship program\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, plus at least 1 year of software engineering, data engineering, or systems integration experience\nIn lieu of a degree: at least 3 years of relevant experience\nWorking knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or Java\nWillingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts onsite in Rosemead, CA, including nights, weekends, and holidays\nStrong problem-solving skills and clear communication under pressure\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a technical field\nExposure to Palantir Foundry, or a similar data platform, through work, coursework, or certification\nFamiliarity with utility operations, wildfire mitigation, emergency management, outage management, or other operational environments\nAbout PVM & Benefits\nAt PVM, we mean it when we say we value diversity.
