You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure trusted data is available for analytics and decision making across the firm. \n\nWhat your role will look like \n\nAs a Data Engineer, you play a key role in evolving and stabilising PwC Luxembourg's data platform. Your work directly supports the availability, reliability, and scalability of data used across analytical and business use cases. \n\n• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines on Databricks to ingest and transform data from diverse sources \n• Evolve and optimise data processing architectures to improve performance and scalability \n• Ensure high standards of data quality, monitoring, and availability in production \n• Contribute to the modernisation and migration of existing pipelines and tools \n• Diagnose and resolve complex data issues with a focus on sustainable solutions \n• Collaborate with analysts, IT, and business teams to deliver trusted data outcomes \n\nYour growth and opportunities \n\nYou will deepen your expertise in modern cloud based data engineering while contributing to a central, firm wide data platform. Over time, your scope expands through ownership of critical pipelines, architectural contributions, and technical mentorship. \n\nThe skills you bring \n\n• Proven experience in data engineering with strong hands on Databricks expertise \n• Proficient use of Python and/or .NET and advanced SQL for data processing \n• Experience working in Microsoft Azure cloud environments \n• English: C1 professional proficiency; French: C1 professional proficiency \n\nWays of working: \n\n• Think critically and structure complex information clearly \n• Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders \n• Proactively learn, adapt, and improve ways of working \n• You act with integrity, handle confidential information with care, and uphold high ethical standards in every situation \n\nAdditional skills that would support your success \n\n• Experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) \n• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, or infrastructure as code \n• Exposure to Power BI Cloud or SAP BO / SSIS / SSRS \n\nEncouragement to apply \n\nThe skills listed reflect what matters most to succeed in this role.
