candidate to join the team as a Manager to provide support to the DPO team in developing guidance and monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, contractual obligations as well as internal policies and procedures. \nKey responsibilities:\nAssist with implementing global policies and developing local policies and guidance in the areas of data protection and privacy, with a view for efficiency through the use of technology \nConduct reviews to ensure privacy and data protection compliance and proactively address potential privacy and data protection issues \nInvestigate data incidents and privacy matters including providing the relevant advice and suggest remedial actions and undertake reporting to the relevant parties as needed \nReview data protection controls in technology risk assessments for technology solutions adopted by the firm \nSupport Legal and Risk Management processes around privacy and data protection issues, including supporting contract negotiations \nDevelop training material and deliver training on data protection and privacy \nAssist with periodic internal and external reporting \nLead ad-hoc projects \nAbout you\nAt least 5+ years of working experience in a risk-related role, of which, at least 2+years of experience in data privacy, data protection and/or data governance \nFamiliarity or experience with AI data governance is favourable but not mandatory \nPossessing certifications like CIPP, CIPE, CIPM or CAIGP will be advantageous but not mandatory \nSome experience in coaching and guiding junior team members is preferred \nBe able to guide and coach junior team members \nBe a team player who is well-spoken, resourceful, confident, mature and an effective communicator with personnel across all grade levels within the firm. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy \nGood project management skills \nPossess a high level of resilience and positive work attitude
