new data processes.\nGenerates algorithms and creates computer models.\nCollaborates with database engineers and other scientists.\nImplements new or enhanced software designed to access and handle data more efficiently.\nTrains the data management team on new or updated procedures.\nStays up to date and educates the team on the cutting edge of analytic applications.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nPossesses a working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling.\nDemonstrates excellent code writing abilities.\nHas strong critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to the products or services the company is producing.\nProficient programming in Python, R, and SQL (Structured Query Language).\nHadoop, NoSQL, Java are strong plus.\nProgramming on scalable/Big Data language such as Scala/Spark is a plus.\nShows strong knowledge of basic and advanced prediction models.\nPossesses a combination of creative abilities and business knowledge.\nHas data mining knowledge that spans a range of disciplines.\nDisplays superior technical coding abilities.\nPossesses strong exploratory analysis skills.\nDemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to bridge the gap between data science and business management.\nHas the ability to think and research creatively.\nDisplays exceptional organizational skills and is detail oriented.\nPossesses a mastery of statistics, machine learning, algorithms and advanced mathematics.\nStrong English communication in paper and oral.\nShows a high level of skills
