In this role, you will develop and maintain integration solutions that support PwC NL’s own business processes and applications. Your work will directly support critical business processes across HR, finance, customer and operational systems by ensuring applications, APIs and data flows are reliably connected. You will work on both new initiatives and existing global platforms, using modern integration technologies such as Azure Integration Services, while also operating in a broader enterprise integration landscape.\nThis is what you'll do\nYou'll be part of an inclusive team working on meaningful integration projects where your expertise counts. You'll use leading technology, including AI tools, and benefit from knowledge sharing and coaching so you keep growing while we make an impact together.\nAs an Application Integration Engineer, you'll develop, maintain and create application integration solutions based on the latest integration technologies. You will design and build APIs and interfaces based on business requirements, implement integrations between core enterprise applications, and ensure solutions are reliable, scalable and well documented.\nIn this role, you will be involved in:\ndeveloping, maintaining and creating integrations between applications such as Salesforce and Workday;\ndeveloping interfaces and services (REST, Open API, event-driven) based on business requirements;\nimplementing API integrations using an API Management platform and creating data models (JSON schemas);\ntroubleshooting and debugging integration issues across the landscape;\ncreating and maintaining technical documentation.\nYou recognize yourself in this\nYou take ownership of your work, communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with team members and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions. You stay curious about new integration technologies and like translating business needs into solid technical designs.\nIn addition, you recognize yourself in the following profile:\nyou have at least 3 years of relevant experience as an integration specialist, integration engineer or similar role;\nyou have experience with Azure Integration Services, \nyou have experience with messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus or JMS;\nyou have experience with protocols (HTTP, SFTP, REST, SOAP) and data formats (XML, JSON, relational and non-relational databases, SQL);\nyou have experience with GIT or similar version control, CI/CD, Splunk and monitoring tools, and you are familiar with integration design patterns;\nyou are fluent in English, both spoken and written.\nNice to have:\nexperience working in an Agile/SAFe environment, certifications are a plus;\na certificate in Python programming, or motivation to obtain one;\nknowledge of API Management;\nknowledge of one or more of the following languages: C#, PowerShell, Java.\nWhat we offer\nAt PwC, you'll have the opportunity to be yourself, get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organization and grow within our global network.
