Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of external audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards \nSupervise audit teams, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure high-quality and timely deliverables \nIdentify and assess financial statement risks through detailed audit procedures and substantive testing, applying professional judgment \nEvaluate clients’ internal controls and risk management frameworks to support robust audit conclusions \nPrepare and review clear and concise audit reports and communicate findings effectively with clients and senior stakeholders \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit efficiency, quality, and client experience \nBuild strong client relationships, proactively resolving complex accounting and audit issues, and advising on best practices \nWhat we’re looking for:\nCore skills\nThis role requires an Australian Government security clearance. You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain this clearance.\nFinancial Expertise: At least 4-6 years of experience in external audit, preferably with a recognised CA qualification \nLeadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and develop audit teams, manage multiple audit engagements and priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes \nClient Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build trust with senior client stakeholders \nTechnical Skills: Deep knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements\nProblem Solving: Ability to analyse complex financial and business issues, exercise professional judgement, and provide practical recommendations \nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex audit findings clearly to diverse audiences \nDon'tmeet every requirement?
