With hands-on learning, cutting-edge tools and an inclusive culture, this is your opportunity to do inspiring work that makes a difference-every day.\nAs a Form 1065 Private Equity Manager you will lead tax compliance work focused on preparing and reviewing partnership returns, validating financial data, and helping clients navigate complex tax rules within our Tax Services practice. As a Manager you will coach teams, manage client service workstreams, and bring judgment to planning, execution, and delivery while supporting junior staff and upholding PwC values. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will combine tax compliance knowledge, team leadership, and technology-minded delivery to help meet client filing needs and contribute to work that supports private equity clients and broader tax compliance activities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn and manage the preparation and review of tax work papers used to calculate partnership taxable income. \nOversee the review of tax forms including 1065, 1120, 588, 1099, W-8, 8832, 8875, 8865, 8937, 8082, and 966\nReview Federal K-1 and State K-1 schedules for partners and ensure accuracy and timely completion\nLead analysis of financial information received from underlying portfolio companies and oversee the calculation of State and Foreign (IRC 1446, IRC 1441) tax withholdings\nOversee partnership and partner tax basis tracking and support quarterly estimate preparation and review. \nManage ad hoc tax projects and formulate future automation resolutions \nCollaborate with Fund Accounting and Operations teams to maintain and enhance process efficiency \nWork closely with service providers to ensure timely exchange of information and manage the oversight of all deadlines\nProvide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for junior team members, including training on partnership tax concepts, processes, and systems\nServe as the primary escalation point for complex partnership tax issues\nDrive continuous process improvement initiatives, including standardization, automation, and documentation of tax workflows and controls\nPartner with technology and data teams to enhance tax reporting systems, data integrity, and reconciliation processes\n\nDesired Candidate Profile:\nPostgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline \n10-12 years’ experience in US Taxation with a focus on Partnership and Corporate fund structures\nExperience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund, Credit, and/or Fund-of-Fund structures \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills \nA self-starter with a proven ability to navigate complexity and drive solutions \nStrong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word) \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate and partner with multiple stakeholders;
