Job Description & Summary

Are you passionate about technology and excited by the opportunities of digital transformation, AI, and data-driven innovation? Do you want to contribute to an IT environment where cloud, security, and modern data platforms come together? As an Application Manager at PwC, you'll support a broad range of business-critical applications and platforms. You'll work with modern technologies such as Azure and Databricks, contribute to digital transformation initiatives, and combine hands-on technical work with a strong focus on the user experience. It's a role where you can grow quickly and make a tangible impact on the IT landscape of a leading professional services firm.

This is what you'll do

You'll join the IFS Technology team, an inclusive and collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are part of the daily way of working. Together, we make sure that the applications our colleagues rely on every day run smoothly, securely, and reliably. In this role, you'll support and optimize a variety of business applications and platforms, ensuring high availability and a seamless experience for users across the firm. You'll work in an agile setting, closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other IT teams to keep our application landscape future-proof. Your concrete responsibilities include:

  • Providing second-line support: troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical or functional issues efficiently;

  • Supporting cloud-based platforms such as Azure and contributing to stable, secure, and scalable application environments;

  • Assisting with data-related platforms and solutions, including data analytics environments and Databricks;

  • Helping safeguard IT security by following best practices, monitoring risks, and supporting secure application operations;

  • Maintaining documentation, sharing knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across the support landscape.

You recognize yourself in this

You combine strong analytical skills with a customer-oriented mindset. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Furthermore, you bring:

  • An HBO level of thinking and working;

  • Experience in IT application support, service desk, or a similar technical support role;

  • Knowledge of business applications, incident management, and problem-solving processes;

  • Familiarity with SQL, databases, Windows environments, or enterprise applications;

  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering quality support.

What we offer

At PwC, you'll get the chance to be yourself, bring out the best in yourself in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. We offer you, among other things:

  • A competitive salary in line with your experience and the opportunity to grow within the firm;

  • A motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are central;

  • An extensive offering of tailor-made trainings focused on professional growth and leadership development;

  • A mobility allowance for your business travel, with the option to use various mobility providers via one convenient app;

  • 32 vacation days and the possibility to buy additional days;

  • At PwC, your well-being is our priority. That's why, in addition to a personal well-being budget to help you grow in physical and mental health, we offer access to the well-being platform OpenUp;

  • The opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful work, use leading-edge technology such as AI tools, learn from the best, and be supported through coaching. Together, we work as an inclusive team to make a real impact;

  • The flexibility of hybrid working, including a fully equipped home office setup and a monthly net allowance for internet and other costs.
