You will analyze pricing models, assess customer profitability, and offer guidance to help clients optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, and maximize customer value. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your influence, skills, and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. With increased autonomy, you will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate.\nIn this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Customer Consulting team, focusing on customer-related strategies and initiatives. Within our Commercial & Service Excellence practice, you will analyze client needs, develop customer-centric solutions, and offer guidance to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. Your ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, along with your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm.\nResponsibilities\n Pricefx configuration & technical ownership\nLead and review Pricefxconfiguration using Groovy scripting to implement complex pricing logic, workflows, validations, calculations, and UI behaviors.\nOwn solution design for price lists, discount structures, approval flows, rebate agreements, and pricing governance constructs.\nOwn and maintain CI pipelines for Pricefx configuration artifacts (scripts/logic, packageable configuration, integration templates) and for any related integration services.\nDesign scalable, high-performance calculation logic (header/line-level execution, validity management, performance tuning).\nEstablish reusable components, accelerators, and configuration standards to improve maintainability and delivery speed.\nAI-enabled pricing & analytics enablement\nShape and embed AI-assisted pricing use cases such as:\nintelligent deal guidance within defined approval guardrails\nanomaly detection on price changes and margin leakage\nsegmentation-driven discounting and elasticity signals\ncompliance alerts and exception monitoring\nGuide implementation of pricing KPIs including margin waterfall, realized price, win-rate vs discount, price variance, and rebate effectiveness.\nEnsure explainability, governance, and auditability of AI-driven outputs within pricing workflows.\nDelivery leadership \nLead a Pricefx configuration workstream or small team (3-8 members).\nOwn technical design decisions and manage complex configuration dependencies.\nTranslate functional requirements into technical design and delivery backlog.\nDrive sprint planning, defect triage, SIT/UAT readiness, release governance, and hypercare support.\nManage technical risks, performance issues, and integration dependencies.\nData & integration collaboration\nWork with integration/data teams on ERP/CRM/CPQ interfaces, ensuring correct mappings, validations, and reconciliation controls.\nOversee data quality checks for price lists, customer/product hierarchies, agreements, and rebate datasets.\nValidate end-to-end data integrity across inbound and outbound interfaces.\nDocumentation & quality \nProduce and review configuration design documents, Groovy logic notes, deployment guides, and runbooks.\nConduct code/configuration reviews and enforce secure engineering practices.\nEstablish quality gates and review standards across the configuration team.\nWhat You Must Have\nAt least a Bachelor's degree\nMinimum 12 years of experience\nHands-on Pricefx implementation experience with configuration ownership.\nStrong proficiency in Groovy scripting with demonstrated delivery of pricing logic in enterprise environments.\nHands-on familiarity with at least one CI/CD platform (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, or CircleCI) and pipeline-as-code practices.\nSolid understanding of pricing concepts: price lists, discount governance, segmentation, approval workflows, rebates/incentives.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams (functional, data/integration, QA, release).\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
