With hands-on learning, cutting-edge tools and an inclusive culture, this is your opportunity to do inspiring work that makes a difference-every day.\nAs a Strategy& Value Creation - Working Capital - Senior Associate you will support deal strategy work focused on working capital analysis, value creation opportunities, and transaction support for clients across the deal lifecycle within our Deals practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, build client relationships, and guide junior team members while applying professional judgment and technical skills to deliver clear, decision-useful insights. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to transaction diligence, interpret financial and operational data, identify working capital drivers, and help shape deliverables that support clients as they pursue value creation across acquisitions, divestitures, and broader strategic initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nAssess a company’s working capital performance leveraging their balance sheet and P&L to calculate working capital KPIs\nBenchmark a company against competitors using public and proprietary information, using the output to draw conclusions on a company’s relative performance;\nConduct analytics on ‘transactional data’ such as customer / supplier invoices, POs / Sales Orders, goods receipt / issues, material movement data and working capital financing to identify data insights on root cause drivers of working capital using analytical tools;\nUnderstand key business processes and support internal stakeholders to facilitate sessions on key processes driving working capital with clients to identify opportunities, such as setting contractual terms, collections, procurement, purchasing and supply chain\nPerform financial analysis of opportunities for working capital reduction, within the context of commercial requirements of the business;\nConduct assessment of operational and management teams within an organisation, identifying skill gaps and training needs;\nManage the end-to-end delivery of project work packages, delivering time-critical services to satisfy client deadlines;\nIdentify and assess risks which could affect project delivery, proactively highlighting them to key stakeholders; •and\nBe responsible for internal initiatives of the Business Unit and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement, including the upskilling of other team members. What You Must Have •4 years of previous experience in Supply Chain, Credit Management/Receivables and Procurement roles, or Working Capital consulting experience in the UK or continental Europe;\nExperience in engagements to improve supply chain management, procurement, buying, collections management, inventory reduction or general working capital optimisation;\nGood end-to-end understanding of flows of goods and services, information and money and how different functions cooperate internally and externally;\nSound financial analysis skills (collecting, manipulating and analysing financial and non-financial data), including strong use of Microsoft Excel;\nStrong commercial awareness and business analysis skills;\nA solid understanding of operational business drivers and critical thinking to enable the \"So what\" analysis;\nA solid understanding of the components of working capital and influencing levers;\nReport writing skills, including use of Microsoft PowerPoint;\nStrong interpersonal, presentation & excellent communication skills (Oral and Written to a high business English standard);\nStrong project management, organisational and project delivery skills;\nDemonstrated experience utilising analytics and visualisation tools including but not limited to Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI (any certifications would be preferable e.g. Alteryx Core and Alteryx Advanced);\nAbility to multi-task and communicate effectively across teams in a high-performance culture;\nAbility to work effectively in a globally dispersed team environment;
