As a Workday HCM Manager you will lead client service workstreams focused on Workday Human Capital Management implementations and optimization, using your knowledge of workforce planning, talent management, HR analytics, and HR process improvement within our Advisory practice. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior professionals, manage client accounts, and take ownership of project planning, timelines, and deliverables while applying sound judgment to complex work. In this role at PwC, you will help clients improve HR operations, strengthen employee experiences, and use Workday capabilities to support workforce insights and people-related transformation within a Digital Core Modernisation environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading Workday Human Capital Management client workstreams from planning through delivery
- Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while coordinating resources across implementation and optimization efforts
- Guiding teams through Workday HCM configuration, testing, and deployment activities
- Analyzing client workforce needs to shape solutions for talent management, workforce planning, and HR analytics
- Translating human capital requirements into system design decisions and process improvements
- Reviewing deliverables for accuracy, alignment to client objectives, and consistency with Workday methods
- Coaching junior team members on Workday HCM functionality, project execution, and issue resolution
- Building trusted client relationships to support HR transformation and ongoing platform enhancement
- Applying analytical thinking to identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Incorporating Workday Recruiting and Workday Talent Management capabilities to support workforce objectives
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience in Workday Human Capital Management with at least 4 Workday implementations
- At least one of the following: A Workday Core HCM certification and at least one additional module such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence, or Time
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: One or more Workday certifications aligned to Human Capital Management solutions, including Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, or related HR platform credentials
- Demonstrating manager-level Workday HCM implementation delivery across client engagements
- Leading Workday HCM workstreams spanning talent, recruiting, or payroll
- Applying workforce analytics to inform HR transformation decisions
- Coaching teams through change management and process improvement
- Developing client relationships through clear communication and strategic questioning
- Managing project budgeting, timelines, and deliverables across complex workstreams
