This work will support two major regional projects:\nNZT Power’s carbon capture plant\nNEP’s onshore compression facilities\n\nOver the initial five-year term, px Group will deliver the OE&M requirements of the Operational Readiness phase, supporting commissioning and managing the handover from the Joint Venture project teams into full operations.\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are now recruiting for a Plant Manager for NZT.\nThe Plant Manager will be responsible for the management of the NZT Carbon Capture Plant, ensuring compliance to and delivery of the px Group Operating Standard through leadership, direction and management of strategy, actions and results.\nYou’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.\nKey Responsibilities\nIn line with px and client requirements, the delivery of safe, effective running of the Plant. Ensuring all SHEQ, legislative and business requirements are met, maintained and improved. \nBe the site role model consistently demonstrating px’s zero harm SHEQ and risk management strategies, Company values, behaviours, policies, culture and practices. \nBuild, maintain and manage effective and timely client relationships balancing and delivering px and client requirements to ensure safe, efficient asset running and excellent & adaptable customer/client service. \nDevelop, lead, communicate and deliver the Annual Operating Plan, including overall philosophy, procedures and systems for the site. Consistently achieve required performance measures and statutory and management reporting. Ensure their effective communication, understanding and monitoring by all employees. \nEffectively plan, justify, control and optimise budgets, financial considerations and contracts. \nWork effectively and positively with all px employees, customers, clients, contractors and external authorities, to both promote the px business and deliver site and client requirements. \nMore responsibilities can be found on the Role Profile. \n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nDegree qualified in an engineering discipline, or equivalent. \nExperience in the energy industry or other related major hazard industries. \nExperience in management of energy related assets. \nOperated at senior management level in the same of equivalent industries. \nAbility to think at a strategic level whilst being able to grasp the details involved in managing day to day performance of the Plant. \nAble to manage the complexities and challenges associated with managing and motivating staff in a safety target driven / cultural / client / service contracts environment. \nManagement experience of a team/site including coaching, managing performance and absence. \nComfortable attending a site of ongoing construction work and engage with ongoing works.\n\nWhat you will receive from us\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nContribution towards eye test and glasses\nOnline company discount benefits site including cinema tickets and gym membership discount\nLong Service Awards\nEmployee recognition scheme -
