This role will be primarily focused on sales of new fire alarm systems working closely with electrical and general contractors.As a sales rep, you will have the unique flexibility to offer full turnkey, partial turnkey or parts and smarts, giving you the competitive edge most fire alarm companies do not offer. Our primary goal is to expand our business and expertise into the mission critical and new construction sector of the fire alarm system industry.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nBuilds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads\nSales focusing on fire protection with a focus on fire alarm systems.\nKnowledge of fire alarm system installation requirements and methods.\nExperience writing proposals and estimating.\nAbility to establish customer repour and build strategic partnerships. \nMeet yearly sales goals set by the sales manager.\nCommunicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.\nDemonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.\nEnsures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.\nMaintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.\nMaintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.\nProvides periodic territory sales forecasts.\nPerform other duties assigned by management.\nEducation/Qualification:\nExperience with EST 4 and EST Edge platforms.\nExperience with Mission critical facility fire protection systems.\nNICET II or equivalent certification.\nExperience utilizing quoting tools Bidnet And Bid Tracer.\nProficient in Microsoft Office tools, Bluebeam and Procore. \nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nOther Duties:\nAdheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to travel.\nCompensation:\n 65K-85K Base Salary (depending on experience) + competitive commission structure.\nAnticipated Close:\n12.25.2026\nBenefits and Perks:\nExcellent pay\nMedical, dental, vision\nCompany paid life insurance\nCompany paid short-term disability\n401K with employer match\nPaid vacation and company holidays\nTraining and Career Development\nCompany vehicle (if job applicable)\nImmediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employees\nOur Commitment:\nPye-Barker is built on four core values - customer-bias, trust, respect, and commitment - that serve as the north star for how we conduct business within our community and across our branches.
