Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.\nThe Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting the programs for vehicle acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles. They will support efforts to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are adequately maintained and repaired to ensure they can be operated safely and efficiently. The Fleet Coordinator assists the Director of Fleet Management and Director of Environmental Health and Safety in all required company fleet and safety reporting (i.e., audits, inspections, testing, program development, and training).Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nFleet, machinery, tools, and equipment selection and procurement activities to support operation’s strategy, vision, and budget.\nSupport branch locations with ongoing fleet preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability, and lowest overall lifecycle ownership and operating costs.\nSupport fleet mobilization and demobilization activities to ensure projects needs are met timely and efficiently.\nFacilitate transition of fleets within acquired companies to Pye-Barker fleet management programs.\nWork directly with branch management teams to continually improve fleet operations.\nDevelop and implement standard operating procedures for fleet operators and supervisors.\nProvide reports to management on schedules, maintenance, and fleet performance.\nAccumulate, validate and maintain fleet data in spreadsheets and online databases\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation/Qualification:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or minimum of five years experience in fleet maintenance or repair.\nKnowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations desired.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to adhere to a budget, monitor performance, and reduce expenses.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite.\nOther Duties:\nAdheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. \nExcellent interpersonal skills, team orientation, approachable work style, and highly comfortable navigating through a wide range of situations with a timely response. \nAlert, focused, and detail-oriented self-starter, who works well independently including ability to follow-up and meet deadlines.\nTravel requirements from 0-15%.\nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nPhysical Requirements:\nReasonable accommodations will be evaluated and may be implemented to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of this position.\nThe work environment may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or field based.\nMay require lifting, stooping, bending, climbing, and stretching to accomplish assessment evaluations.\nOccasional evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.\nMay be required to lift to 50 lbs.\nMay be required to wear various forms of personal protective equipment (shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).\nBenefits and Perks:\nExcellent pay\nMedical, dental, vision\nCompany paid life insurance\nCompany paid short-term disability\n401K with employer match\nPaid vacation and company holidays\nTraining and Career Development\nCompany vehicle (if job applicable)\nImmediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employees\nOur Commitment:\nPye-Barker is built on four core values - customer-bias, trust, respect, and commitment - that serve as the north star for how we conduct business within our community and across our branches.
