Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.\nThe Security Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the activities of the Security Sales’ Department. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management. Their duties also include hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from upper management to department staff about sales quotas and generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nHires and trains regional and local sales managers and staff.\n\nOrganizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of regional and local sales managers.\n\nConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.\n\nProvides leadership to the sales team.\n\nMotivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.\n\nReviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.\n\nIdentifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.\n\nAssigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.\n\nConsults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.\n\nResolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.\n\nCollaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.\n\nPrepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.\n\nActs as company representative at trade association meetings.\n\nPerform other duties assigned by management.\n\nEducation/Qualification:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field, OR\n\nComparable record of sales leadership experience required.\n\nAt least three years of sales experience required.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nExcellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.\n\nStrong supervisory and leadership skills.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\n\nList any applicable education/qualifications.\n\nOther Duties:\nAdheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\n\nBenefits and Perks:\nExcellent pay\nMedical, dental, vision\nCompany paid life insurance\nCompany paid short-term disability\n401K with employer match\nPaid vacation and company holidays\nTraining and Career Development\nCompany vehicle (if job applicable)\nImmediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employees\nOur Commitment:\nPye-Barker is built on four core values - customer-bias, trust, respect, and commitment - that serve as the north star for how we conduct business within our community and across our branches.
