Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.\nThis position is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the shop activities and inventory. The express purpose of this position will be to supervise and take part in the shop in such manner to meet the profit and expense goals of Company.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nGeneral warehouse operations.\nReceiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse\nPerform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels.\nCheck in orders and stock all inventory items.\nMaintain adequate shipping supplies.\nPerform all shipping.\nKeep shop organized and clean.\nMaintain, clean, and organize all shop tools.\nCheck specialty tools in and out.\nMaintaining extinguishers and system cylinders in various locations in shop.\nRecord and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually.\nMaintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns.\nTrain and manage subordinates in job level requirements.\nMaintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job.\nPerform other duties assigned by management.\nEducation/Qualification:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.
