Lead Software Engineer - .Net Core

Role Overview:

As a Lead Software Engineer specializing in .NET Core, you will serve as the technical backbone for our core product development team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for architecting scalable backend solutions, mentoring a high-performing team of engineers, and driving the transition toward microservices-based architectures. Working closely with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure that our platform remains robust, secure, and capable of handling high-concurrency traffic. Your contributions will directly influence the scalability of our infrastructure, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of users while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and develop high-performance, scalable web applications using .NET Core to meet evolving business requirements and improve system throughput.

- Lead technical design discussions and code reviews to maintain architectural integrity and mentor junior developers in adopting best-in-class engineering practices.

- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate complex business problems into elegant, maintainable technical solutions that drive customer engagement.

- Optimize database performance and API latency to ensure the platform remains responsive under heavy load, directly impacting user retention and satisfaction.

- Implement automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and reduce time-to-market for new features.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and dependency injection.

- Proven ability to design and manage RESTful APIs and microservices, coupled with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like Azure or AWS to deploy and scale services.
