Join our team and create, improve and innovate the everyday!\n The Electrical Technician will build and test electrical systems to specifications, install industrial equipment, and support maintenance activities that help keep operations running efficiently. Work with electrical schematics, assembling components, and solving technical challenges.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild & Wire: Complete point-to-point wiring and install electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, and specifications.\nTest & Troubleshoot: Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical components, assemblies, and systems to ensure quality and reliable performance.\n\nSupport Manufacturing Operations: Assist with the installation of industrial plant equipment and help improve assembly efficiency and productivity.\n\nWork with Industrial Systems: Support the installation of pneumatic and hydraulic lines, valves, regulators, pumps, and related equipment.\n\nPerform Hands-On Fabrication: Use hand and power tools to drill, grind, cut, bend, thread, deburr, and fabricate components as needed.\n\nPartner with Maintenance: Assist with preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, facility upkeep, and other maintenance activities.\n\nMaintain a Safe Workplace: Follow established procedures, use equipment properly, maintain an organized work area, and consistently support Pyrotek's safety program.\n\nDocument Your Work: Maintain accurate departmental records and complete required paperwork and computer transactions.\n\n What You'll Bring\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or GED/TASC equivalent.\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.\n\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions and established safety procedures.\n\nHands-on capability using a variety of hand and power tools.\n\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nCommitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.\n\nPreferred:\nThree or more years of experience building and troubleshooting electrical projects in an industrial environment.\n\nWorking knowledge of electrical circuits, switches, sensors, actuators, motors, grounding, electromechanical devices, and electrical control systems.\n\nBasic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\n\nExperience with industrial equipment and material-handling devices such as forklifts, overhead cranes, or electric pallet jacks.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.\n\nYour Work Environment\nThis is a hands-on role in a shop-floor industrial manufacturing setting. Will work around industrial machinery, overhead cranes, moving vehicles, vibration, and airborne particles. The environment can be noisy, and appropriate personal protective equipment is required.\nThe position involves frequent standing, walking, and hands-on work, with occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds.\n The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $30.00 - $38.00 + benefits.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
