Pyrotek is looking for a Marketing Communications Associate to join our Global Marketing team at our Corporate Office in Spokane, Washington.\nThis is a hands-on, generalist marketing role offering the opportunity to work across a variety of creative projects, including graphic design, copywriting, video editing, social media, website content, and trade show support. You'll help translate complex engineered products and technical solutions into clear, engaging messaging that connects with customers across global industrial markets.\n** Candidates should be prepared to share a portfolio of work samples of design, writing, or video. **\nWhat You'll Do\nYou'll be involved in a wide range of marketing communications activities, including:\nCreate & Design: Develop visually engaging print and digital materials, including product brochures, technical data sheets, case studies, advertisements, presentations, trade show graphics, and signage.\nWrite & Tell Stories: Write, edit, and proofread website content, articles, press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, social media posts, and product literature. Turn technical information into clear, compelling content.\nVideo & Multimedia: Edit videos featuring products, applications, customer stories, recruiting initiatives, company events, and social media content. Assist with photography and video shoots at company facilities and customer sites.\nSocial Media & Digital Marketing: Plan, create, and schedule social media content, primarily for LinkedIn and YouTube. Monitor engagement and help evaluate campaign performance.\nWebsite Management: Update and maintain pyrotek.com, including product pages, news, literature downloads, and other content. Assist with SEO improvements and website analytics.\nTrade Shows & Events: Support industry trade shows and conferences through booth graphics, promotional materials, literature, shipping coordination, and pre-show marketing.\nGlobal Team Support: Partner with sales teams and regional offices around the world to provide marketing materials, presentations, and brand guidance.\nOrganization & Project Coordination: Maintain marketing libraries, creative assets, templates, and design files while tracking project timelines, deadlines, and basic marketing metrics.\nAs you build your knowledge of Pyrotek's products, industries, and brand standards, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of larger projects and develop greater independence.\n What You'll Bring\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.\nPrevious experience in marketing, graphic design, video production, or content creation is preferred but not required. Internships, freelance work, and substantial academic projects are welcome.\nExposure to B2B, industrial, or manufacturing marketing is a plus.\nA portfolio of design, writing, or video work samples is required.\nCreative & Technical Skills\nWorking knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.\nFamiliarity with website content management systems, LinkedIn, other social media platforms, and email marketing tools.\nStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.\nAn eye for visual detail, including typography, formatting, layout, and brand consistency.\nAbility to accept creative feedback and make revisions efficiently.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.\nPersonal & Professional Strengths\nHighly organized with strong time management, prioritization, and project coordination skills.\nCreative problem-solver with curiosity and a willingness to learn.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nComfortable working independently while collaborating with colleagues across different departments and global locations.\nAdaptable, approachable, and able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.\nDemonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning.\nWork Environment & Travel\nLocation: Pyrotek Corporate Office in downtown Spokane, Washington.\nWork Arrangement: This is an in-office position.\n Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel, up to 10%, including potential visits to company facilities and customer locations.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.\n The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $26.45 - $28.85 ($55k - $60k) + benefits.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
