Pythian Careers\nWhat you will be doing:\nThis position is accountable for ensuring:\nStrong hands-on experience in handling, troubleshooting network and security-related issues.\nIn-depth knowledge of Cisco FMC and FTD platforms, including installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.\nEvaluate diverse security risks in a fast-moving environment and be technically capable of suggesting and carrying out remediation, in accordance with Cisco''s security policies and standards.\nImplement security measures on network infrastructure, such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security policies\nCreate and implement security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and NAT rules to ensure secure communication across the network.\nImplement and configure VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs, using FMC/FTD.\nExperience with SSL certificate management, including CSR generation, certificate renewal, installation, and troubleshooting.\nTroubleshoot and resolve network security issues related to FTD firewalls.\nProvide support for network security incidents, including malware detection, DDoS attacks, and firewall policy conflicts.\nExpert knowledge of advanced security features such as intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and malware analysis.\nExtensive working experience on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, along with Arista Cloud based and Routing.\nExpert knowledge of ARP, MAC Address Table, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, Ether channel, Switch Stacking, HSRP/VRRP, Access Lists (ACL), and NAT.\nHands-on experience in Enterprise LAN and WAN configuration and troubleshooting.\nGood to have experience on any “Software Defined Networking” solution, i.e. Cisco/Viptela/Versa SD-WAN\nConfigure network policies, application performance optimization, and dynamic path selection using SD-WAN.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to SD-WAN, including connectivity, security policies, and application performance.\nImplement security policies and ensure secure communication between SD-WAN sites using Versa’s integrated security features, such as encryption, secure tunneling, and firewall integration.\nExcellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to handle and manage client interactions and escalations independently, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of critical issues.\nIndependently drive P2/P1 Technical calls from the network's end, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and provide clear, concise updates to clients.\nWhat we need from you:\n5 - 10 years of experience in implementing and managing multi-vendor network solutions.\nExpert-level experience in Routing and Switching.\nStrong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies (IPSec, Remote VPN), and routing/switching principles.\nExpert-level experience in Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) and other Cisco security products.\nPrior experience collaborating with global clients from US, Europe, and APAC regions\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and handle high-pressure situations effectively.\nMust be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and managing client escalations efficiently.\nA relevant certification in security is an asset. \nWhat you will receive:\nLove your career: Competitive total rewards package.
