They are seeking a mid-level Data Scientist to conduct product analysis and help design & evaluate A/B tests.\nThe Data Science team currently consists of 4 other Data Scientists, who work together to tackle a variety of projects each week.\nA successful candidate in this role will be comfortable working closely with stakeholders across the data and business teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Analysis:\nAnswer insightful analysis questions from stakeholders across the Product org\n\nBe able to ramp up on how different parts of the product & our data model function, to pull accurate results\n\nPartner with PMs and Engineers to design key metrics for different initiatives\n\nExperiment Analysis:\nBe the “stats expert” alongside PMs to ensure we design effective experiments\n\nUnderstand and be able to intuitively explain concepts like power & sample size\n\nAnalyze experiment results to determine what is statistically significant, being able to take into account common pitfalls and “p-hacking” that can happen with A/B testing\n\nSpecific Deliverables (First 3-6 months):\nRamp up on a particular product area and start answering ad hoc insight questions from there\n\nDesign an experiment (with another DS there to mentor), see it launch, and then analyze it\n\nGive feedback on new team processes and come up with an idea to iterate / make a new one\n\nMust Have Skills:\nYou have 3+ years of Python and SQL experience in a Data Science environment, to aggregate, transform, and analyze data and conduct statistical analysis\n\nYou have 3+ years of experience designing statistical tests and running A/B tests\n\nYou have a proven track record of building successful stakeholder relationships across a range of teams and levels\n\nYou have the ability to distill down complex data concepts and systems to non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and live conversations\n\nYou have experience building predictive models using statistical and ML techniques and working closely with Engineering to bring your models to production\n\nYou have demonstrated curiosity about AI and language models through coursework, projects, or independent exploration\n\nNice to Have Skills\nYou have experience working with digital consumer subscription products\n\nYou have expertise in survival models, advanced LTV/CRM modeling, and growth accounting\n\nYou have experience working with stakeholders in a number of cross functional areas, ranging from Product to Marketing to Finance to Engineering\n\nYou have experience with AI-native developer tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code\n\nYou have first-hand experience in data modeling and writing your own data pipelines\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
