Job Summary

We are hiring a Finance & People Operations Specialist to own the recurring back-office engine of the company: bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, benefits administration, and expense management. is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we grow our global operations and need thorough financial reporting to plan our business, both locally and across borders.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and close

• Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online

• Support the monthly close and keep the books clean and reconciled

• Assemble recurring monthly management reports

Payroll

• Run US payroll in Rippling and international payroll in Deel

• Maintain payroll calendars and ensure on-time, accurate cycles

• Onboard and offboard employees and contractors in Rippling and Deel across multiple countries

Benefits and retirement

• Administer benefits enrollments and changes in Rippling

• Coordinate with our 401(k) provider on routine plan administration (fiduciary and plan-sponsor decisions remain with Finance leadership)

Client invoicing

• Run the monthly client invoicing cycle end to end

• Reconcile billable time and project data against invoices before they go out

• Track and follow up on outstanding receivables

Expense management

• Administer the AMEX and Rippling card programs

• Chase receipts, code transactions, enforce expense policy

Documentation

• Build and maintain written runbooks for every recurring process you own

What You Bring

Must Have Skills & Experience

• Professional written and spoken English; you will work in English every day

• Able to work US Eastern business hours from our Campinas office

• 3+ years running back-office finance or people operations for a US-based or US-headquartered company

• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience

• Hands-on US payroll experience in Rippling, Gusto, ADP, Justworks, or similar

• High discretion handling confidential compensation and personal data

• CNPJ, or willingness to open one before start

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience

• Deel or another global contractor/EOR platform

• Professional services or consulting background (billable-hours invoicing)

• Experience operating inside a SOC 2 or similarly controlled environment

• Brazilian statutory accounting: CRC registration, SPED, eSocial, Nota Fiscal. Our Brazilian statutory compliance is handled separately. If your background is Brazilian tax and statutory reporting, this is not the right fit.
