Employee Responsibilities\nEvery Q2 ALS/ US ROD employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.\nSpecific responsibilities include the following:\nLeading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.\nShowing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.\nBeing responsible – on time for work and take breaks during designated times.\nCarrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.\nPosition Specific Responsibilities\nSupport and administer the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program for the US Rod Manufacturing facility in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company requirements. \nServe as the primary HSE resource for manufacturing employees, supervisors, and site leadership. \nConduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and safety observations to identify risks and promote safe work practices. \nInvestigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and hazards; complete documentation, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions to completion. \nMaintain HSE records and documentation, including training records, inspections, incident reports, OSHA reporting requirements, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance records. \nCoordinate and deliver employee safety orientations, required training, emergency response activities, and ongoing safety awareness initiatives. \nMonitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, PPE requirements, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, chemical safety requirements, and other manufacturing safety controls. \nSupport HSE & API, customer, internal, and regulatory audits by coordinating documentation, inspections, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. \nProvide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HSE requirements, regulatory compliance, hazard prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nAssist the HSE Manager - USA with safety programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations, training, and compliance activities at US Rod RSP locations and rod shop operations as required. \nPromote a positive safety culture through employee engagement, hazard reporting, coaching, and continuous improvement. \nTravel occasionally to support HSE activities at U.S. operational locations. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Minimum Qualifications\nDiploma, certificate, or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field. \n1-3 years of experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing, industrial, oilfield, or related environment. \nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health and safety requirements. \nExperience conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up. \nFamiliarity with manufacturing safety practices, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, chemical safety, and equipment safety. \nAbility to maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, training records, and corrective action tracking. \nProficient with Microsoft Office applications and electronic safety management systems. \nStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to work independently while supporting site leadership and contributing to a team environment. \nAbility to travel occasionally within the United States. \nValid driver's license and ability to obtain access to customer and operational sites as required.\nPhysical Demands\nMay be required to stand and walk for extended periods while performing site inspections and safety observations. \nOccasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, or climbing stairs to access equipment and work areas. \nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally. \nManual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment and inspection tools. \nRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety boots, hard hats, eye protection, hearing protection, and other required safety gear while in operational areas. \nExposure to manufacturing, warehouse, repair shop, and industrial work environments including noise, moving equipment, temperature variations, and industrial materials. \nAbility to travel and move safely throughout production, warehouse, and service environments while complying with
