As a Senior Credit Control Analyst, you safeguard the credit position of customers across different Business Segments within Kuwait Petroleum Europe.\nYou analyse financial information, assess creditworthiness and closely monitor risks. You connect with Business Segments, customers, credit insurers and external partners and turn complex financial information into clear advice and concrete action.\nYou get plenty of responsibility and the freedom to take initiative. You turn them into action.\nYour biggest challenge\nYou combine financial analysis with stakeholder management and a strong understanding of the business. This allows you to support business growth while keeping credit risks under control.\nYou assess the creditworthiness of customers, monitor your portfolio and take action to minimise credit risks and potential bad debts.\nYou prepare analyses for the Credit Committee, present and defend your cases and take ownership of the agreed actions.\nYou work closely with different Business Segments and customers to understand their financial situation and provide clear credit advice.\nYou maintain relationships with credit insurers and collection agencies, ensuring optimal insurance levels and following up on bad debt cases.\nYou prepare credit reports and KPIs, analyse ageing and exceeding figures and provide management with clear insights and explanations.\nYou support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, insurance premiums and bad debt provisions.\nYou work with our credit model and SAP and identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting and processes.\nYou keep credit policies and procedures up to date and contribute to projects that make our way of working smarter and more efficient.\nIn short: you connect financial insights with business reality. You ask the right questions, identify risks and turn your analysis into clear advice.\nYou work accurately and take ownership of your responsibilities. At the same time, you communicate easily with colleagues, customers, management and external partners.\nYou also:\nHave a master’s degree in Finance.\nBring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.\nHave experience working within an international company or environment.\nHave a good understanding of financial and administrative processes and systems.\nHave good working knowledge of Excel and SAP. Power BI experience would be great.\nAre analytical, accurate and solution-oriented.\nOrganise your work independently and manage different priorities effectively.\nCommunicate clearly and build strong relationships with different stakeholders.\nTake initiative and continuously look for ways to improve.\nAre fluent in English and at least one additional language, which is essential for the role.
