This includes enabling IT/OT convergence while maintaining operational integrity, safety compliance, and cyber resilience in mission-critical environments.\nThe Enterprise Architect ensures that technology investments:\nDeliver measurable business value\nImprove operational efficiency and reliability\nEnhance cybersecurity posture\nReduce technical debt and system redundancy\nSupport regulatory compliance and risk management\nEnable data-driven decision-making across field and corporate operations\nIn addition, the role champions secure digital transformation by embedding cybersecurity-by-design principles, promoting zero-trust architecture, strengthening industrial control system protections, and ensuring business continuity in high-risk operational environments.\nThe Enterprise Architect also leads the Digital Office strategy to modernize the workplace through cloud adoption, collaboration platforms, automation, AI-enabled productivity tools, and secure remote access solutions - improving workforce productivity and digital experience across corporate offices and remote field locations.\nUltimately, the Enterprise Architect is accountable for building a resilient, innovative, and integrated technology landscape that enables sustainable growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage in QAFCO.\nKey Accountabilities:\nDevelop and maintain the enterprise architecture (EA) framework, principles, standards, policies and operating models.\nDefine integrated IT/OT/cyber security /Digital architecture principles.\nEstablish long-term IT road maps with alignment with business, cybersecurity, and Digital Office.\nAlign IT strategy and architecture with business goals and corporate strategy.\nDefine and manage enterprise technology roadmaps (short-, medium-, and long-term).\nEstablish governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards.\nTranslate business capabilities and strategy into technology architecture requirements.\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand transformation priorities.\nEnsure IT initiatives support enterprise-wide integration and optimization.\nIdentify opportunities for digital innovation and automation.\nDefine target-state architectures across:\nBusiness Architecture\nApplication Architecture\nData & Information Architecture\nInfrastructure & Cloud Architecture\nOT/ICS Architecture (SCADA, DCS, PLC)\nCybersecurity Architecture\nDigital Workplace Architecture\nIntegration Architecture\n\nEnsure secure integration between enterprise IT and operational technologies.\nDrive interoperability across production, refining, and distribution systems.\nOversee system integration and interoperability standards.\nEnsure scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise platforms.\nEstablish enterprise data governance architecture.\nEnable enterprise data platforms and analytics.\nSupport AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics.\nPromote automation and RPA initiatives.\nDrive adoption of emerging digital technologies.\nLead cloud adoption strategy.\nEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies.\nRationalize application and technology portfolio to reduce redundancy.\nLead legacy system modernization initiatives.\nAssess vendor solutions and ensure architectural fit.\nEnsure architectural designs comply with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.\nIdentify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nCollaborate with Information Security and Risk teams.\nSupport disaster recovery and business continuity planning.\nProvide architectural leadership across IT and business units.\nMentor solution architects and technical teams.\nPresent architecture strategies and investment cases to executive leadership.\nAct as a trusted advisor for strategic technology decisions.\nPromote best practices in architecture and solution design.\nDrive cloud adoption, automation, DevOps, and modernization strategies.\nContinuously evaluate architectural maturity and optimize frameworks.\nParticipate in the on-the-job training of trainees and newly hired personnel within the Group to ensure that they develop the necessary skills to independently carry out assigned activities.
