This role will be focused on urea products and export conveyor system design and operation Product Handling, urea Ship loaders, ammonia loading operations, Jetty, Marine facilities & operations.\nKey Accountabilities:\nOversee development and review of process design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process simulations.Ensuring process design aligns with licensor requirements, safety standards, and operational philosophy.\n\nLead and close out HAZOP, SIL, and operability studies.\nEnsure fire protection, gas detection, and emergency systems are designed per NFPA and QAFCO standards.\nSupport hazardous area classification, firewater system design, and safety layout reviews.\nParticipate in risk assessments and ensure implementation of safety recommendations.\nAssist the Head of Engineering in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure alignment with Project objectives, EPCC Contract requirements, and Project procedures.\nTrack and report progress of engineering deliverables, highlighting deviations and supporting recovery actions.\nReview, verify and comment on technical documentation submitted by EPCC Contractor, including datasheets, drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.\nParticipate in kick-off meetings with subcontractors to align on technical scope, quality expectations, and schedule.\nFollow up on fabrication progress and support resolution of NCRs or fabrication defects reported by subcontractors.\nCollaborate with the construction team to ensure proper installation of equipment and systems in accordance with engineering deliverables.\nMonitor engineering deliverables against the commissioning-driven project schedule and report deviations.\nCoordinate with EPCC Contractor and internal teams to ensure timely completion of engineering inputs required for commissioning.\nCoordinate engineering interfaces between internal departments (Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Procurement) and EPCC Contractor.\nSupport the Interface Team in technical review of spare parts, tie-in readiness, and resolution of interface-related issues.\nParticipate in multidisciplinary reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA, and 3D model reviews, and ensure closure of action items.\nSupport identification and tracking of engineering-related risks and contribute to the Project Risk Register.\nMaintain records of technical reviews, NCR resolutions, inspection outcomes, and interface coordination.\nSupport audit preparation and participate in lessons learned sessions.\nDesired Candidate Profile:\nBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or relevant discipline.\nA minimum of 10 Years of direct and relevant experience within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry, or EPC company.\nGood exposure to process engineering software design and knowledge in all aspects of Process Engineering implementation and execution based on International Standards.\nHaving exposure of Product Handling, Ship loading, Jetty or Marine facilities and Operations.\nHaving strong skills of Project Management, Leadership and team management.\nPreferably having experience in Ammonia & Urea Major Projects, with the following exposure:Design and operation of the urea bulk halls\nFamiliar with urea product and export conveyor system design and operation\nBulk Hall product quality control systems\nStart-up and commissioning of urea product handling and storage facilities.\nTroubleshooting experience of bulk halls urea systems\nUrea batch scale design and operations\nExperience with bulk urea Ship loaders operations\nExperience with bulk ammonia loading
