What's even more impressive is the team of extraordinary people taking off together day in day out, flight after flight.\nOur people are the real jet stars!\n Be part of the Jetstar People team supporting critical operational workgroups across critical operational portfolios \nManage complex employee relations cases, disputes and compliance-related projects \nFulltime, 12-month fixed term opportunity based at Jetstar HQ, Docklands- hybrid working arrangements \nAs an Employee Relations Manager, you will provide additional ER capability across Jetstar’s operational portfolios. Working flexibly across Cabin Crew, Engineering and other areas as demand arises, you will support complex employee relations matters in a highly regulated, unionised and operationally sensitive environment. Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations, you will manage complex employee relations cases, disputes and compliance-related projects, while providing clear, pragmatic advice to business leaders, managers and HR. You will operate as a trusted adviser, influencing stakeholders and helping them understand risk while recognising that final decisions sit with the business.\nThis role offers the opportunity to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, supporting frontline operational leaders while contributing to longer term IR strategy for the business.\nTo be considered for this role, key skills will include:\nStrong experience in complex employee relations and case management, ideally gained within a large and complex organisation \nDemonstrated experience managing disputes and union relationships \nStrong capability in complex case management and employment law application \nExperience appearing before, or preparing matters for, the Fair Work Commission \nThe ability to influence and partner effectively with senior operational leaders \nA pragmatic, solutions focused approach to managing risk while supporting business outcomes \nExceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ER/IR matters clearly and confidently \nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust in fast paced environments \nYour Life at Jetstar Is Unlike Any Other\nPut the craft in aircraft: There’s a new fleet of A321LR NEO’s waiting for your arrival.
