Deliver seamless, high-quality digital experiences that build customer trust and satisfaction.\nAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll contribute to the delivery of a cabin crew-facing application used during flight, where quality engineering is essential to ensuring a seamless experience in complex, real-world conditions. From offline-first functionality to intermittent connectivity and secure device management, you’ll help shape robust testing strategies that ensure the app performs reliably when it matters most.\nYou’ll work closely within a cross-functional product team to design, implement and continuously improve test approaches, while contributing to automation and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.\nYou’ll have:\n6+ years of experience in enterprise QA, with strong hands-on experience in mobile application and API testing\nExperience testing with iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) devices\nExperience performing both manual testing and contributing to automation efforts where required\nStrong capability in API testing, including validating RESTful services and end-to-end integrations\nFamiliarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Charles or Proxyman\nExperience testing applications in offline or low-connectivity environments\nProficiency using Xcode for debugging, log analysis, and basic app investigation\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)\nUnderstanding of mobile application architecture and backend integrations\nAbility to design and execute test cases, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing\nStrong defect investigation and reporting skills, with attention to detail\nExperience working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and designers in cross-functional teams\nDemonstrated ability to promote quality best practices\nExposure to mobile test automation frameworks is beneficial but not essential\nWhy Qantas?\nAt Qantas, your career can take you further than you imagined.
