With more than 100 years of experience, we build quality into every fiber, letting your ideas take flight.\nTraining Specialist 2 Overview \nIdentifies skill or knowledge gaps among the organizations employee population and develops training content in response to identified training needs. Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted. Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials. Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs). Assesses the impact of training programs by measuring employee understanding of the subject matter.\nPrincipal Accountabilities \nDevelop a training system with a career perspective blending formal classroom, on-the-job, computer based, and offsite learning to include Skills Training, Professional Technical Development & Industry Certifications, and Leadership Development.\nDrive training lifecycle improvements and best practices. \nBrainstorms with and builds partnerships with organizations to understand their short- and long-term business and manufacturing learning objectives in becoming a World Class Training organization.\nCoordinates the learning and development strategies and resources to sustain the achievement of those objectives and needs.\nPartner with Production Technology, Quality & SMEs in understanding training requirements and how to deliver the training. \nEnsure that the curriculum consistently reflects state of the art practice, is packaged in an effective manner, and apply learnings on-the-job and is connected to the broader department goals and company initiatives\nAnalyze curriculum effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement methods \nStreamline processes and influence team behaviors that support effective and efficient decisions on learning solutions. \nIdentifies, tracks, and reports appropriate metrics on quality and effectiveness of learning solutions. \nAssist in establishing training schedules. \nBoost training guides for a variety of manufacturing processes.\nHelp create corporate training campaigns with instructor-led content in learning management systems (LMS).
