This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the quantum computing revolution, working with cutting-edge technology and driving commercial success.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuantum computing expertise:\nServe as the go-to expert on fundamental and advanced topics in semiconductor quantum computing, quantum control, and related applications.\n\nStay current with the latest scientific literature and advancements in the field.\n\nConduct qubit experiments at Qblox's field lab to test hardware and software functions on cold QPUs.\n\nBusiness development and customer engagement:\nLead deep-dive technical discovery sessions with customers to uncover their needs-moving beyond specifications to understand their specific research bottlenecks.\n\nCollaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise, develop system-level proposals, and demonstrate product capabilities.\n\nStrategize with the deal team to address unique customer challenges.\n\nValue proposition development and product demonstration:\nTailor value propositions to specific customer requirements and the competitive landscape; articulate how Qblox's solutions address customer challenges and deliver tangible benefits.\n\nLead the creation and execution of live, on-site demonstrations in academic and industrial labs, customized to address specific customer requirements.\n\nDemonstrate real-time qubit control, readout protocols, and data analysis.\n\nTechnical market analysis:\nAnalyze deals to understand customer requirements and competitive positioning to identify missing specifications, and assess the technical factors impacting deal outcomes.\n\nDocument customer needs to inform product development and provide feedback to the product team to guide future hardware and software solutions.\n\nGlobal outreach and travel:\nRepresent Qblox at conferences, customer sites, and industry events worldwide.\n\nConduct product demonstrations at events and participate in roadshows.\n\nBuild relationships with key customers and the global quantum computing community.\n\nRequirements\nKey qualifications:\nAdvanced Technical Expertise: A PhD in physics with significant hands-on experience in experimental quantum computing, specifically spin or superconducting qubit control and readout, or equivalent research experience. This includes a deep understanding of relevant scientific literature and the ability to stay current with advancements in the field.\n\nExperimental Proficiency: Proven experience in building, debugging, and operating complex experimental setups involving RF signals, microwaves, DC equipment, cryostats, QPUs (Quantum Processing Units), and other general lab equipment. A strong hands-on mentality is crucial for ensuring experimental setups function correctly and efficiently.\n\nProgramming Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis, experiment automation, and developing control sequences.\n\nCommunication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers, explain complex technical concepts, and deliver compelling product demonstrations. Fluency in Professional English is essential.\n\nCustomer Engagement and Sales Affinity: A charismatic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality with a strong affinity for sales and marketing.
