My client based in Tygerfalls, Cape Town is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Developer to join their team on a fixed term contract. IT / FINANCE Responsibilities Analyse business requirements, user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria to identify testing needs and quality risks. Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, regression packs, and reusable test data. Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications, APIs, and system integrations. Execute manual and automated testing to ensure application quality, functionality, and reliability. Perform API testing, database validation, regression testing, integration testing, and other relevant testing activities. Identify, document, prioritise, track, and retest defects using appropriate defect management tools. Support continuous testing practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release readiness assessments. Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, increase automation, and reduce manual testing effort.
