# Release Train Engineer

My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join their team on a contract basis. IT / FINANCE Responsibilities Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment between Product, Technology, Design, Operations, market teams and vendors. Translate product priorities into integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements and release commitments. Facilitate PI Planning, ART syncs, System Demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops. Track delivery progress, features, risks, dependencies and impediments, escalating issues where necessary. Manage delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, capacity and governance requirements. Improve delivery flow, DevSecOps practices and continuous delivery processes. Coordinate software releases, hardware requirements, certification and market rollouts. Manage vendor delivery, resources, scope, contractual milestones and acceptance processes. Support pilots, phased deployments, go-live decisions and post-launch stabilisation. Provide regular reporting on delivery progress, risks, forecasts, recovery actions and decisions required.
