Desired skills include:\n+4 years of experience with building Android applications that have been deployed to the Play Store and actively used in production environments\n\nExperience using Kotlin for Android development, along with basics of Kotlin coroutines\n\nExperience with Android jetpack\n\nstrong background in software engineering, version control, writing readable code and tests, robust design, and basic data structures and algorithms\n\nworking proficiency (≥C1) in speaking, reading, and typing English (≥45 words per minute)\n\nlogical reasoning and ability to express ideas clearly\n\nwillingness and interest in working with people from other cultures\n\nemotional resilience and social intelligence\n\nand you have to care about the work that you do\n\nand you have to be optimistic at least sometimes, although pessimism tends to be useful\n\nBelow are additional skills that are a bonus, but are not required:\nprior experience in leading a software engineering team\n\ndomain knowledge and/or interest in the sustainable development goals, particularly in public health, agriculture, and assisting developing countries\n\nexperience with computer vision\n\nexperience with gRPC\n\nWhat can you expect:\nunusual, socially conscious projects\n\nlittle bureaucracy\n\nsignificant ownership\n\na mix of product, internal platform, and client integration work\n\nability and encouragement to explore technologies other than your main expertise\n\noptional travel to learn more about problems we're trying to solve\n\nRequires a full-time commitment physically based in Warsaw, Poland, with a hybrid of remote and in-person work throughout the week .
