In this role, you will own and continuously enhance our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 requirements and evolving regulatory expectations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will drive security governance, risk management, compliance initiatives, and security awareness activities across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to shape strategic security programs while supporting a dynamic, international, and highly regulated business environment.\nThis position can be based in Germany (Hilden) or Poland (Wroclaw). Occasional international travel may be required.\nYour tasks include\nOwn, maintain, and continuously improve QIAGEN’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Security Compliance Program, including the ongoing development of our ISO 27001 certification framework\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization\nSupport internal and external audits, certification activities, and regulatory compliance programs\nConduct information security risk assessments, compliance reviews, gap analyses and track remediation\nAdvise business stakeholders on information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance\nContribute to the company-wide security awareness program and monitor emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and regulatory developments\nYour profile\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, or a comparable role within an international organization\nProven track record in implementing, managing, and improving an ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System (ISMS), ideally within a manufacturing or regulated environment\nProfessional certification such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent\nStrong knowledge of ISO 27001 requirements, information security governance, risk management methodologies, and relevant European and German cybersecurity regulations\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in German and English\nStrategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with a pragmatic approach and the ability to influence stakeholders across a multinational organization\nWhat we offer\nBonus/Commission\n\nLocal benefits\n\nReferral Program\n\nVolunteer Day\n\nInternal Academy (QIALearn)\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nHybrid work (conditional to your role)\n\nOur people are the heartbeat of everything we do.
